Hello and welcome

I'm so glad you're here.

My passion has always been skincare, healthy aging, and discovering practical ways to look and feel our best at every stage of life. I created this space to share what I've learned and to support

women who want to embrace ageing with confidence, curiosity, and joy.

My Story

My journey with skincare and healthy ageing began at the age of 20 during a trip to Texas to visit my aunt. It was there that she introduced me to the Clinique counter. After a skin consultation, I walked away with their iconic

3 - Step Skincare System: cleanse, clarify and moisturise.

It was the '80s, and back then the sleek packaging and price tags felt like pure luxury. I had oily combination skin, and by midday my makeup would often become shiny. The promise of Clinique's Clarifying Lotion felt like a game changer. Before long I was also introduced to City block, their make-up base with SPF, and just like that I was hooked.

That experience sparked a lifelong passion for skincare, self-care and overall wellbeing. I remained a loyal Clinique customer for more than a decade, gradually adapting my routine as my skin changed over the years. Eventually,

I swapped the Clarifying Lotion for a gentler toner, butane thing never changed -- the habit of investing in both my skin and myself.

Over the years I've tried more products than I can count, read everything I could get my hands on and stayed endlessly curious about how we can age well. Some products have exceeded my expectations, while others have quietly disappeared into the bathroom cupboard!

Turning 30 brought a different challenge, I discovered my first grey hair. At the time I was a single mum, working hard and feeling financially stretched. It wasn't simply about my hair -it felt like a reminder that time was moving on.

Im wasn't ready to colour my hair I wanted to keep my natural colour for as long as possible, so I immersed myself in research, determined to slow the process naturally. To some people it may seem like a few grey hairs, but to me they represented a part of my identity.

Fast forward to today and I'm now in my fifties, I still have only around a hundred silver strands and over the years my mindset has changed just as much as my skin. I've learned that health aging isn't about chasing youth or striving for perfection. It's about caring for ourselves, making informed choices and feeling comfortable in our own skin.

That is why I created My future Face.

This is a place where I'll share my experiences, honest product reviews, skincare tips, healthy ageing advice and everything I've learned through years of curiosity, trial and error. If my journey helps even one woman feel more confident about the future she sees in the mirror, then this blog will have achieved exactly what I hoped it would.
